- Preserve and celebrate Odia cultural heritage, folk arts, and traditional festivals.
- Support underprivileged children with educational resources, books, and scholarships.
- Mobilise communities for environmental conservation and disaster relief efforts.

How It Began
Our Story
Gopabandhu Charitable Trust was founded with a simple belief: that the people of rural Odisha deserve the same dignity, care, and opportunities as anyone else.
Named after Pandit Gopabandhu Das — the great Odia patriot, social reformer, and poet — our trust carries forward his timeless legacy of service and sacrifice. What began as a small group of like-minded individuals in a single village has grown into a network of over 500 members spanning 8 districts of Odisha.
Over the years, we have organised hundreds of free medical camps, distributed thousands of meals to the hungry, supported elderly citizens abandoned by their families, and worked tirelessly to keep Odisha's rich cultural heritage alive through festivals like Ratha Yatra and Danda Nacha.
Today, we stand as a registered non-profit trust, guided by our commitment to serve those who need it most — the elderly, the hungry, the sick, and the young. Every member of our trust is a volunteer at heart, and every act of service is an act of love for our land and its people.
